Well That Was Cool

We had some pretty good thunderstorms last night and this morning. Rain, lightning, thunder...par for the course in July but a rare treat in November. And a treat it was although the dog begs to differ. All that precipitation could have been ice or snow. I don't have to chip away at or shovel rain.

Another treat this morning: The Governor woke up at 5:30 a.m. That's not the treat part. When I finally got him back to sleep, he snoozed soundly - well past the start of preschool. So we're skipping preschool, which means I don't have to get out of my pajamas until at least noon. Rainy day, no where to go, pajamas until lunchtime....God must have forgiven me for using the F word yesterday.

Time to fetch my tea and put my feet up. Sorry if you're stuck in the office today. Or, if you're Chris H., stuck in Arizona with the Cardinals and Denny Green.

Maybe you've been forgiven, but I'm stuck here at work, so I guess things even out. Although, I also used the F word yesterday - along with a couple of S words and at least one D word. But not all at once or in the same sentence. Waiting for some of y'alls crappy weather to come blowing in and ruin my weekend. Forecasters are saying low 30's. Brrrrr.

Low 30s? Hell--it's 6 degrees right now in St. Cloud :)

Yeah, but I'm a Southern wuss. 30 degree weather is dang cold - single digit (or worse) is incomprehensible....

Ha! Lot you know. Denny won't make it till the end of the year. He's looking like a coach soon to be fired, just like ASU and just like Dan Monson. Won't have to put up with him for long. Unfortunately, being a Vikings fan first and foremost, I take no great satisfaction with them beating the Cards. It shouldn't have been as close as it was. On the plus side, after Denny gets cut loose, Pete Carroll will look good in the Cardinal Red I think. Then, and only then, might I become a fan.
On another note, I'm in Vegas right now for a "work related" conference. Work is loosly used in this instance. It's butt cold here too. Lows in the 20's last night with a howling wind. If I wanted that I'd move back to Minnesocold.
