But We're So Worth It

From my friend Dave (the engineer):

How Engineers Explain Women

Probably why so few engineers ever get close to a woman!

And most engineers are single?

I've got a cousin that happens to be an enginerd, and still single, I think he would probably agree with this.

The engineers are probably thinking, well, if women take time and money, then Women = time + money.

Following the derivation, you end up with Women = 2 times the square root of problems.

So, if the number of problems is 1, 2, 3, or 4, Women is still greater than or equal to the number of problems, and hence worth it.

However, if the number of problems is five or more, Women are not worth it (i.e. The number of problems is greater than Wome.)

QED.

It sucks to be the geek engineer. Why haven't we heard from Tim on this one.

Ahhh...thanks Cath? Or should I question Dave!!!

What Bible translation are you taking this from. Mine says that money is the root of all evil. So this should really be women = evil.

I was just reading some guy's post recently where there were comments made about cats being evil. Therefore women=evil and cats=evil, so women=cats

I love cats; ergo, I love women.

Your engineer does not receive an A+ for accuracy...only in humor. The equation must be redone since the famous quote (taken from scripture) is:

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." 1 Tim. 6:10

If you substituted woman for money above, it would still be accurate for some people...but you'd end up with LOVE = Problems. Yeah, the equation is still true, but it doesn't make the opposite true: NO LOVE = No problems. I guess we're all stuck with women, love, money, problems, etc. I think it's still worth it, but then again I'm a woman...

Good catch, and I knew that. Love of money is the root of all evil. Money in and of itself is simply a tool. I stand corrected.

I'm an engineer myself and I can assure you the above equations work out.

And yes I'm single. :)
