Time For An Intervention

Heh, heh, heh.

Maura left a comment earlier concerned that her dog looks like a vampire bat and therefore, might he be a Democrat?

So I had to go check out Maura's dog. (And her blog) Oh dear. I think you're in trouble.

Has he ever tried to unionize the other local dogs? Is he against wetting on the trees, preferring fire hydrants as a more "green" approach to urination?

Go over and check out Besmirched. Don't miss the photos.

By the way, I love stealing photos. Maura, if you have any objections to me pirating Otto for my blog, please let me know and I'll take him down.

He's adorable.

No problem-o! Otto's so cute that he SHOULD be famous.

Anyway, after conferring with the Hunk, we've decided that Otto's a sound mix of Socialist, Authoritarian, and Libertarian:

1. He believes in free food. All is his, all the time...yet, he also believes in free choice of food (like styrofoam and insulation)

2. No efforts to unionize. He is the Napoleon of the Neighborhood, and it's his way or the highway. Pretty ballsy for a nine-pounder.

3. The fact that he is a canine garbage disposal suggests he may be concerned for the environment. He recycles. But the fact that he shits it - almost intact - right back into the environment indicates he might not. We take it to mean that he supports individual stewardship, another Libertarian ideal.

Dogs: the new political philosophers?

I dunno,he has the same look Hillary has when a new spending bill starts up...

To complete the resemblance, he'd need to be drooling.
