Where the H*ll is Everyone?

I want to know what Andy has done to his wife, because she has not blogged since November 6th.

Also, I think someone should make a seal or badge of some sort that would identify a site as a "Weekend Blogger." Then I wouldn't have to check the entire links list each Sunday night to find out who else doesn't have a life.

Want Ad: If there is anyone in Minnesota who reads this and is remotely familiar with Moveable Type, I am interested in taking some lessons. I'm also willing to pay. I know how to enter posts and pictures, but that's about it. I hold my breath each time I add a new link because I'm terrified to mess with the indexes. I've wanted to spiff up the top of the page but whoa ho ho...not until h*ll freezes over unless I learn some more. I'm too impatient to try and read a manual. I want someone who would be willing to sit down for a couple of hours and show me how to do stuff in MT. Feel free to leave a comment or my email is over on the left. Thanks.

Ugh, MT. I wish you luck!

Normal picklejuice has been restored. I apologise for the outage.

What do you want to know about MT? I have installed it and messed around with it.

Hi Andy,

You name it, I need to learn it. I'd like to spiff up my header, but I don't know how. (Add a photo or graphic?) I'd like to fix the Site Meter and my Email address so they line up with the Links - not sure why they went flush over to the left.

I'm curious about uploading pictures. What's the difference between the "archived site path" and the "local site path?"

Memory? Do I need to be concerned about photos in old posts? Should I be deleting these to save space?

I've seen a patch (?) or something you can add to stop spam comments. How and where do I do that?

How can I view more than just the last 5 comments to see if I've got additional spam out there?

A hundred other questions that might be quite basic, but my level of understanding on this stuff is primeval.

Interested in taking on the job?

Hi Cathy,

Half of what you describe is 10 minutes of a job. The other half would involve a couple of hours of research but doesn't strike me as being rocket science...I'll look into it today.
